The UK’s largest health cash plan provider, serving 10,000+ businesses, commissioned a feasibility study for a quoting tool to create tailored health plans.
Mission objectives:
User surveys and interviews helped uncover inefficiencies in the sales quote process, revealing reliance on time-consuming spreadsheets and templates.
Conducted card sorting exercises and outlined user flows to organise content logically, to help define navigation and primary user interactions for the quoting tool.
Design and prototype the interface with attention to key actions, such as generating and sending quotes, for easy access.
This process facilitated collaboration between UX, the product owner, and development teams, serving as a high-level blueprint to guide rapid prototype development and align with development efforts.
Tested lo-fi wireframe prototypes with sales teams and incorporated insights from in-person interviews to improve designs.
Wireframe layouts were designed to showcase big, bold facts and figures, allowing sales teams to easily toggle between industry sectors and relevant talking points.
This innovative solution not only streamlines the process of offering tailored health plans but also delivers industry insights that highlight the direct link between a healthy workforce and reduced absenteeism, translating into significant savings and increased revenue for customers. This design example shows the gateway landing page with a simple UI, complemented by healthcare-related imagery I created in Midjourney to set a sense of place and add realism to the product prototype.
By quantifying the value of employee health, this tool empowers intermediaries to make a compelling case for investing in comprehensive health plans, demonstrating how they directly boost a company’s bottom line.
I created UI components in Figma to accelerate the design process. This screen displays an expandable product UI that offers quick insights and adjustments during sales calls.
